...in Midwest Western Australia, we have these massive Huntsmans that we call 'Bush Spiders' - not sure what their real name is. They grow to around 15cms (about 6 inches in American money?) and if you get too close to them, they will jump on you. When I was little, one jumped at my grandmother and landed across her face! A few years later I had one on my kitchen wall and when I held up a can of insect spray to kill the bugger, it jumped and landed on the can. I almost broke the land speed record, travelling backwards!

Hate, hate, HATE spiders.

I'm ok with living in denial. Really, I am!

and now there is this spider that is nearly a foot long and it still exists. It can't be! I can't see how something like this has not been killed off. Where's the bug spray? NUKE THAT SUMBITCH TO OBLIVION! If I would ever see something of this caliber in person with my own eyes I would cry for my mommy. Damn spiders.....I'm sure glad this one species of spider is only located in Laos.
