Which, of course, is as it should be, especially if you subscribe to the "Mascot Combat" method of determining who should have the best chances of winning a given exihibition. The OU "Sooners", you see, are named after those westward-expansion pioneers who just couldn't wait for the official start of the various "land-runs" that took place in OK in the late 1800s. More than a few murders took place between Sooners fighting over prime land plots before they were even officially available.

So there you have it... a bear versus a tough, sneaky, murdeous land-thief who's probably packing a pistol or two in addition to his ever-present shotgun. 

My money is definitely not on the bear.

Was there something significant about the oompa loompa-esque uniforms they were wearing on Sunday?  I don't mean to offend, but it's the first thing I thought of when I saw them.

Over the plutonium reactor spill green the Seahawks were sporting a couple weeks ago.  Not only was I ragged on for them choking in a game they should have won but I also had to suffer digs about the neon vomit jerseys.

My only conclusion is that it was some kid’s dying Make A Wish request to design those jerseys and that’s what the little bastard came up with.

My daughter was wearing her Bears t-shirt yesterday. She's been a little disppointed in the season so far, but has high hopes.

As long as they aren't playing the Steelers, I'll root for Da Bears!

Sorry, but I love it! NFC North title coming to MN before Dec. is awesome, GB drops 2 more games and Chi loses one more before they face the Vikings and its a done deal!

I have to say the D looked good tonight, but you cant win with a QB that gives up Five yes that right Five picks in a night!

I stopped watching in the 3rd quarter. Cutler ws awful, you're right. But how is it that he gives up 3 picks in the first half and they are only down by 4 pts.  Nobody's offense came out looking good last night.

I thought I was gonna be sick during most of the game!  The very last play put me over the edge!!!  I'll stick with the Chicago Slaughter - our Arena Football team.  They went undefeated last season!
