my DM never allowed characters to rise from the dead. so we NEVER were allowed to fall in love with a character.

So what I was DM I followed the same rule.

Not sure what else to say, but sorry! Labor day weekend is the last weekend you can draft. Being I'm overseas I have to make it a not to late of a draft time for me- Plus my other league is also drafting that night. (So I'm going to be drafting for hours that night).

Also one thing I've always found funny- is Labor Day weekend is the Annual Kickoff for Footballin this country with College football season and many high schools playing then.  And Dragon*Con picks this same weekend too. The reason I find it funny, is that many of the folks who are incharge were band geeks themselves (I myself a choir nerd)- thus killing much of their college audience as they CAN'T attend it!

Okay back to the Fantasy Football side... make sure you have your draft list set then. And make it LONG-- VERY LONG!!! As we will most likely have 16 people playing and I'm not sure yet on how many positions  for each team (too many people that can water down the fun if there aren't enough players).

But I have just set the waiver wire to be 2 days. Meaning on Wednesday Sept 9th (could be tuesday the 8th just check with yahoo) All players not drafted are free agents! So if your draft gets you a bad player or two you can trade them for others.  And NO one person can snag everyone from under your nose because you are enjoying Dragon*Con.

a live draft.  That's the best way to do them in my opinion.  However, if you can't make it to the draft you can make a list for yahoo to use.
