I'm confused. I expected a novel. I'm not sure what I got! I'm not complaining about the stories, it's just that I expected to hear a story about the PUV James Keeling.
Is this an experiment in writing?

I can see where it can become confusing, too. There have been a number of places where it has been advertised that these episodes were the stories that were told about the crew of the Crypt, and how they came to be stationed thereon. Clearly, The Tank and the Washington DC are not about the crew of the crypt, but are more general in setting the environment of what is going on.
Even the assembled podcasts available on podiobooks and itunes are labeled "The Crypt Book 01: The Crew" so I can see how someone would be confused by the inclusion of The Tank and Washington DC in that group.

Remember that it is also just a work in progress, most stories dont make as much sense as you would like them to in the beginning. At least in my opinion that is how all good books start, pull zee strings!
...something friggin awesome brewing in the noggin of the FDO. And even better, he get's to tap into the other brain-trust-podcasters out there to help keep the crack flowing to us junkies... what could be better.
Not sure what it is or if it'll ever really come to be, but the character stories are the shisit on their own.
Hell, even if we never even hear/read an actual story that takes place on that deathtrap, I'll be eating up the more straightforward sci-fi/thriller character story stuff... for the next 128 years of continuous podcasting.
Fucking fantastic!!! Keep them coming!

up top I think James has it, the charactor stories are a great foundation for whats to come and makes it easier to have a lot of complex character smack into each other at once, without having to stop to explain then. Great idea for those who really listen and retain the stories.
