I love idea of a new novel rather than a short story, I am selfish and want as much as I can get. I love the total moral conflict, evil vs good, but will we know which side is good?  the diversity due to alien interaction, dashing space hero types and... the aliens!  Like Spy vs Spy in Space with aliens.....and venting.

I'm pretty sure it won't have anything to do with the GFL.  More akin to Heroes from the bloodcast...  Starting out as a simple novel, but Scott won't be able to contain himself and will write a whole bunch of books about the Rookie Universe.  He will then buy a ranch in the middle of NoWhere, secede from the union, rename the ranch the "Purist Nation", install himself as the High One and convert Junkies to the "True Way"....
