All that matters is getting my fix.

always makes for good scifi, if done right

like the remake of orwells time machine and harry potter and the prizoner of azcaban

but when futzing with the time line, like in star trek's enterprise (boy, they ruined it didn't they?), makes for more problems than i care to go into here

the grandpa paradox of killing you own grand father before your parent is born, makes for unresolvable paradox, if you weren't born how can you go back in time??

I agree with you though. It's usually good storytelling.

although I enjoyed Enterprise. Not as much as some other Star trek series.

But hey what the heck.

Timetravel rocks 

All that matters is getting my fix.

That's why the suspension of disbelief is so important in stories that have to do with time travel...  Sit back and enjoy...   Kind of like the Mexican....

are among my favorite time travel stories, as well as the Hitchhikers Guide.  And there was that TV series with Jerry O'connell, was it Sliders?  that one was "cute" and I liked it.

7th son. was too much, it probably would not have annoyed me as much near the end if i had started listening the begining of the podcast (when he started it) instead of catching up with books one and two and 3/4 of three before i had to wait between each episode. but i started to get annoyed with it towards the end, could not wait to get it over with. don't get me wrong, i think it was a great story and hutchins tells it well. i do have it on my list of must hear podcasts i give to people, it's just for me, i should have put a few days between each episode instead od doing a steady diet of it. maybe it was the cliffhanger ending of EVERY episode. oh well, but that's me, now what do you think of me?? (sorry, been ranting about oprahell too much, kind of rubbed off)
