In regards to the amount of compensation you receive when someone buys one of your books from a bookstore, does the price the bookstore is selling it influence the cut you receive for the sale? Or is that stuff worked into your contract and you get a flat amount regardless?

that is worked out in the contract. The recommended price of the book is set but for some reason Amazon always charges a lower price. However, I don't think that changes the amount of money that Scott gets. I may be wrong though.
