So, I have no patience. Does anyone know if the MVP audiobook is available for purchase? I would prefer just buying it and going on an all out Sigler binge. Also, I'd like to support his work, by purchasing it.
We're still looking at "sometime in October" although it might be the very last day.
Still, with SiglerFest and THE DETECTIVE also in October, I'll count that as a win. (Remember, it was me that accidentally deleted the first three months worth of work, so catching up on three months in just under two months still makes me happy.)
Also, we'd rather release the MVP audiobook in October, so we have all of NOVEMBER to fit in the ebook release of TITLE FIGHT. Naturally.

It was worse than that: it was three months of work I did myself. I'd stared at that damn folder for months, and then, in one tragic afternoon while prepping for the MVP shipping, I effin' forgot that "AB_MVP" meant "audiobook_MVP" and not "myfirstname_MVP" which is how I had been labeling the prep files for shipping.
… And then I secure deleted them, so I wouldn't end up printing the wrong labels.
Yeah, I'll give you a minute to read that again …
Ten or so hours of finished audio. Secure deleted. I knew after about one minute what I'd done and I couldn't stop it. I just waiting the three minutes or so and watched it delete.
Not my finest moment.

Well, I unfortunately did the same think with 40,000 finished words of THE REPORTER. I accidentally deleted it, then safe-emptied the trash. Found out my TimeMachine backups were down. Also found out the main document for the story wasn't in my fiction folder, which is automatically backed up with DropBox.
I'd finished editing the second draft of Mur Lafferty's work for it. I lost eight 10-hour days worth of work. I had to go back and do it all over again. Ugh.
