Intel based hardware and a Linux (BSD, or whatever) kernal...  makes it much more friendly to those of us who don't worship at the shrine of Apple...

 i am a huge apple fan, but not of their business decisions

i think it is a better machine than pc's

i know pc's much better than macs, only because i have to trouble shoot problems i my pc and others all the time

The infrastructure requirements mean $$$...  We're currently using mostly Motorola Qs, and a few Treos running windows mobile for Active Sync... works pretty well...  Of course, you'd think, that since I have to configure them, fix them, and troubleshoot them, that they'd give me one too...  You'd think that wouldn't you... huh... huh!  Yeah, well kiss my ass!@#$#@$
