Oh, I was a silly boy. Thinking I downloaded ALL the episodes... Listening to every gory detail, munching on Bear claws, and laughing through my nose as I chewed my questionably fresh pastries. I ripped through all 11 episodes and realized that I had burned through my stash without regard on when or where the next hit will come from... but, now it has been too long. Way too long... Please Scott, I need my fix...
yup. In the newsletter he said that we had to be patient another week.

My thoughts this week: Waiting is an essential part of junkie life. Ok, this is how retarded my maths teachers are: I got told off for doing too much work. So I freakin finished the syllabus 5 months early... Isn't that a good thing?

The sting of irony, Freakazoid... I applaud your over-achievement, esspecially in Math... Oh how I do miss college. One thing to remember though, "Standards, those are for standard people..."
On another note, Have you listened to any other books from S.S.? Anything you could recommend for a quick fix to my delema?
I listened to No. 1 with a bullet and that subsided my jitters between the rookie and nocturnal.
I liked Tee Morris's Billibub Baddings and I'm listening to Morevi again. The Plitone Revisionist is pretty good too.

Hi.....i'm new to Sigler and his Junkie Fanz......you crazy bastards!!......I'm based in Birmingham England and am 42 years old.
Had an Ipod at Christmas and wanted a Podcast / Audio book for free.

We'll I was walking the dog an thought Fuck it i'll give it chance.....and so I listened...and listened a bit more.....and started to get interested.
Like a dozy twat I downloaded episode 1, 2 and 11 so I had to go back to ITunes to get the rest of the audiofiles. Now I have them all and I'm on episode 6....and I'm hooked....hence the reason I created an account on this Site. Where's these pictures though Sigler of where the murders were....you know the google maps or pics....I can't find them.
Anyhow you sick bastard....back to episode 6 for me with the Snake a Werewolf in tow.....

Ah, the de-tox isn't going so well for me either. Tried to stretch out episode 11 as much as possible, but you can only stretch near-40 minutes podcasts for so long. DAMN I NEED MY FIX, but I guess getting Infected done is top priority...

Take me for what I am, for I am, what you take me for!
Welcome fellow Junkie! Always good to have another person to share the Sigler sickness with!!
In regards to your question about maps and images, click here to access the Nocturnal wiki page. It contains brief episode summaries, a character list with links to descriptions of each character, a list to keep track of fan based characters and an images section.
In the Images section, you will find a link to the Google map that our Evil Overlord himself is maintaining. It pinpoints locations of significant events as well as charcters domiciles. Also will provide you will all the images that Scott has provided over the course of the novel, with brief descriptions and episode markers. This includes the images of the arrowhead that they found in the body of Marco Gastineau. I try to maintain it weekly so if you see anything missing or want to see something but dont have the time to update it, just give me a holler and I'll take care of it.
Again, welcome...and enjoy!

Scott is fantastic, but with the pending publication of Infected, that's gonna be his top priority (he's gotta pay the bills) because he has official deadlines etc. Try not to go straight through them. They have to hold you another week.

at the bottom
previous pages have the links to the google maps
the Wiki pages are full of info on nocturnal as well as all things Scott Sigler (DAMN HIM)
ANYTHING by sigler (DAMN HIM) is a most read/hear
he has stories in other podcasts as well
escapeod.org is where i heard of him first, he also has stories in psuedopod.org (Bagman, the first story on psuedopod, is his) and other podcasts as well, those are the places i currently know of and have heard his stuff
the Sigmeister (DAMN HIM) is well known in the podosphere (and much mal-aligned, jealousy and envy, i.e., hutchins and others)

This is why I just save the episodes until the work is done, then GORGE myself on the finished book. I once went 30 years between parts 1 and 2 of a story, but finally found part 2 a couple years ago. I don't put myself in that condition anymore. For Analog magazine I wait until I have all the parts of the novel together to read them in one sitting.
So, while I have all the current parts of Nocturnal on disk, I haven't gotten strung out yet.
Besides, it only get sinteresting if Sigler puts me into the story, and he hasn't yet.
On a clear disk, you can seek forever.
I've chewed my nails to bloody nubs, spent lots of money in the iTunes store, shoveled snow from my driveway by hand and now just basically moping around...........LOL
Ok well the nailbiting is almost true. The iTunes is definately true. I actually plowed snow off the highway with my bigrig this morning so maybe that counts but not really moping.
I just finished up my school semester and now am searching for some other good podbooks to hold me over until I can get the vein to quit throbbing.
Ever been forked?
I also try to only pick up complete works. Probably more because I WILL actually FORGET what I am tracking to listen to more and then I'll remember and it will be gone, ie....Infection:( I had a similar experience as Mycroft. I had been reading a book and just didn't have the time to finish and eventually stopped renewing it at the library and returned it. But it haunted me for years, then ending and not knowing! I eventually found it again at a big book sale and finished it, 8 years after the start. But now it's safely in my own library, lol! The ONLY reason I took a chance on this podcast, as I have also had ones that never were finished - GRRRR!!!! - was that I know Sigler won't dissapoint us junkies:) Bless you Sigler! :)
So far I bop around to a few other podcasts or ebooks, I don't have a ton of time so not a ton to fill up. Also I have been going back to the frist few of Nocturnal, getting a straonger base on start of the story and the characters, story line, etc....
OK Mr Sigler,
I'm up to date now with NOCTURNAL....listened on my journey to work 1hour on my way home 1 hour and dinner time
30mins ....Now I got nothing to do tomorrow.....so when are you going to post epi12 before I have an epi fit you masochistic bastard!!!
Please Boss....
Take me for what I am, for I am, what you take me for!
So there should be a new episode this week.

6 days to John Barrowman!
Tara the Freak - Wide Receiver for the Ionath Krakens
John Barrowman?
Please forgive the newbie:) Well not really a newbie, just kinda a "hit or miss" junkie who gets whatever I can find in the few mins I have to surf the net.
I have the first few episodes of Infection from iTunes. When I had first been browsing on iTunes I had gotten a few episodes of each podcast that looked like it had potential. I didn't get back to it for quite a while, been listening to Siglers other podcasts and some from other people, like Crescent. Oh well I will have it soon!:):):)
is cool
not sigler (DAMN HIM), but a worthy alternative

If you want the rest of Infection I'm sure some members still have the mp3s.
