Ancestor crossover in Chapter 20

Did anyone catch the Ancestor in Bing's taxidermy studio in Chapter 20? 

 

At 23:00 minutes: "One, he didn't recognize. It had a wide head that connected directly to thick shoulders. The head was about chest high, and the back led down at a steep angle to a narrow pair of rear hips. On the stainless steel table in front of this one lay a big cow hide."

 

Bing: "All I'll say is I'm not vacationing in northern Michigan any time soon."

 

The man must be good, if he's getting top-secret animal specimens flown in to him.

Like him using a weird knife to cut 'fluffy' open... say some kind of curved nasty thing that looks like it could be made from pure platinum?

While they do look eerily similar, one may be an emaciated form of the other...
