hmm something seems wrong

ancestor was on OVERALL #7

infected is right now Books #151 and was TOP #150 ....

But  

#2 in Horror

#1 in Horror USA

#14 in Genre fiction 

#38 in fiction and literature 

#15 in thrillers

 

junkies ?

did you all buy It in bookstores like me (sry scott , im under 18 no amazon...) or did you just NOT buy it ?

Scott , can you say how many infected books were sold on april first (amazon + bookstores) i don't know perhaps crown can do something.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who tried, but was unable to purchase it today.  One of the Borders in SF (Stonestown) claimed to have 18 copies, but when I went to pick mine up, they were nowhere to be found.  I had 3 staffers looking everywhere (including the "basement"), but nobody could find them.  Their best explanation was that it was an "inventory error" and that the books were somewhere between the warehouse and the store.

The reason the Amazon best seller list may not have gotten as high as previously is because many junkies are buying at brick and mortar stores. I just read an article about best seller lists and the Amazon list is Amazon sales only. This will give Scott the opprotunity to show up as number one on other lists like the New York Times one.  Soon he will be able to say NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR.

Apparently a lot of stores claim to have not gotten them on time.  Damn B&N tried to tell me that my book wasn't going to ship until MAY

That's what I did. Heard Siggie's comment about the brick and mortar stores so I bought a second copy (Mine came from Amazon) for my best friend who doesn't do audiobooks. Gave him a tree ware edition on me. Spread the INFECTION!!
