Just got off the phone to my local branch of Waterstones and they have told me that they can get hold of the hardcopy from their US distributor in about a week and they'll ring me when it arrives.
Keeping my finger crossed as I have had my hopes dashed before ;)
i did the same thing from borders but they give an american section that 1-2 weeks after the books out they can order it.
