I started to have weird paranoia after listening to about halfway, I'd just be walking down the street and feel like people were going to attack me....

I didn't have anything like you have described. But I have always thought my mother-in-law had to be one of them. LOL

well i had some reactions! i would and still do freak out whenever i have a tickle or itch randomly, and i do sleep with chicken scissors on the bedside table...

My main reaction was an immediate aversion to chicken scissors, and the newfound knowledge that a talented storyteller can make me flinch hard enough to nearly run off the road with a single well-played sound effect.

I always think about the story when I have get a bad itch, especially if it's in a spot I can't easily see...I gotta go take a look in the mirror.

This happens to me as well. I just don't have the sudden need to check it out in a mirror.

Infection is the only story which really got to me. But it didn't get me that bad, and i now think that those strange triangles growing on my hands are just strangely shaped warts.

Yeah, agree with the itching, I was springing up with mad itches the whole time I was reading that crazy book!
