I was reading this story today and the first thing I thought of was Infected

Bizarre Morgellons remains a mystery
CDC is investigating complaints of rashes, weird hair growths and itches

Yah, the hair or threads is what really reminded me of Infected coupled with the reduced mental functionality.

I was procrastinating at work the other day and happened across this story whilst scrolling through MSNBC.com. I immediately thought of Infected too!!
