I got my copy of Infected Today

Hey, so I usually don't post in forums, but the place that I ordered Infected from (Waldenbooks, Kenwood Towne Centre, Cincinnati OH) called me today and said that my copy was in. 

 

So I promptly placed down money I don't have on a book that's coming out for free in audio format, to support the only dealer that matters.  

 

My question is....is this book supposed to be street dated?  I asked that question, and they said that it wasn't street dated and they could sell it!

 

Hope I didn't cause them too much trouble, but wanted to say thanks for the hard work on these novels, now that I've got it in my grubby hands!

For some reason, I don't think Garrison Keiller is going to carry "Infected".  His is the only independent bookseller around anymore.  If he isn't carrying it,  I'm calling the closest Borders today.

Does it matter?  Will one make a difference over the other?  Do the counters we want to increase only happen between the 1st and 7th?  or if we buy it early do we mess that up?

I swung by a local borders at lunch, and they're only getting 7 copies in...  Hopefully all these stores will run out really frickin' fast...

Delivery estimate is for the 4th...  It was sent via usps and they haven't shown receipt of the "package" yet...

Just picked mine up at lunch at the local B&N.  I even wore my Krakens Jersey when I went to get it.  Thought this would be better than walking into the store with a pair of chicken Scissors.

I just killed the woman behind the counter by caving in her skull with repeated blows of my Infected Hardcover!

 

Yes!, now, Scott, just so you know, blood stains and viscera will cause the ink to smear!  Just something to look out for when Earthcore gets published next year.

Bought ancestor last year today, just got infected and look I'm all for tradition and everything but I better not have to wait a year for earthcore.

I told my boss at lunchtime that my Dark Overlord has tasked me with a mission and I need to leave....now.  Wink  I didn't explain anything to her until I got back .  I'm glad my boss knows i'm weird :)  I'll never make her a junkie, but at least she accepts me as...well...odd.
