What are you reading now, or what do you recommend?

I've seen threads about what we listen to and what movies we watch, but as intelligent of an audience as we have here, I'm guessing the vast majority of us read treeware books too. So how about it? What have you read dozens of times? Why? What was horrid and you threw across the room in disgust? What are you reading now? Besides Contagious. That's a DUH.

Well, I don't have any unpacking to do but now I know I shouldn't have done my laundry... and sleep is overrated anyway! :)

I am attempting a lesiurely pace....with little success.  I am thinking I should limit my Nocturnal reading to only before bed and not take the book outside the house with me.  That might slow me up a bit, I want to savor!

Just finished The Hunger Games and absolutely loved it!!! It made me laugh, it made me cry (bawl my eyes out, actually), it made me gasp in horror, but more than anything else, it made me want to read the next two books in the series. As a matter of fact, I've already started Catching Fire! I'm ready for the emotional roller coaster ride that I'm sure this book is going to take me on.

I really enjoyed The Hunger Games series. I just finished a series called Wool on my kindle. It was pretty fabulous and way more engaging than the name implies. Just bought Bones are White and I am stoked!

The Wind Through The Key Hole A Dark Tower Novel by: Stephen King I just got this book yesterday so I haven't gotten far, but so far it's great. According to the forward it takes place between 'The Wizard and The Glass' and 'The Wolves of Calla' and it reveals more back story to the main character Roland Deschain. I'll prolly put up more about it when im finished but I'm already recommending it because it's part of my favorite book series The Dark Tower

In between Nocturnal I am reading Necropolis by Michael Dempsey.  Its very good so far.  Its like noir, sci fi, post apocalypse, detective crime drama all rolled into one  With zombies...well kind of zombies.

I am reading "Bones: The Complete Apocalypse Saga" on my kindle. It is about a police K-9 named Bones navigating through dangerous apocalyptic scenarios, using all his skills to survive.

I just started AREA 187: ALMOST HELL by Eric Lowther.  It is awesome - I can't hardly put the book down.  So far, I would highly recommend this book.

I love AREA 187: ALMOST HELL. That is an awesome book. Keep an eye out for the "box brides". If you like that book you might like FEED by Mira Grant.

I loved, loved, loved Feed!  I would second that recommendation.

Right now I am reading Bitten by Kelley Armstrong, haven't been able to put it down since I started it.

I do not read like i used too. finally got started on Nocturnal (see signature below). half way done.
Aso listening to Underwood and Flinch, The Heavenfield, The Account: Lightening for Hire, Bone Machines.
i trade off listening. that is just a few of the books i have in my iPod. this doesn't include the podcast magazines (short stories) I listen to. I recently read Double Share. still have the All-Pro on my to read list (currently listening to the podcast)
I mostly listen to books, old eyes.
