Reading Roc and a Hard Place by Piers Anthony. It's part of the Xanth world. It's pretty funny, but I'm not sure I'm going to make it all the way through it.

 Recommend: Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke.

I got mine yesterday too but didn't get off work until late, so didn't read it yet.  Today is a beautiful day outside so I plan on sitting on my patio and reading the book!!!! (after I get off work of course!)

it's fun to ignore people while reading on the bus here. so many people do it.

Hell I have gotten books to read by seeing someone else reading it on the bus and then asking about. lucky they didn't ignore my question. so whats it about???

 I've read 9 of his early novels over the past week. It's amazing how entertaining some of the science fiction from the 40's and 50's still is. Goes to show how timeless the art of a real master can be.

one short story I heard Read on NPR was called "Chicxulub", ( it is in his book titled "Tooth and Claw"anyone that has a teen or a pre-teen should sit down and read this story with their child. I was in awe of this story and how well told it is.

I go back and read it every so often. 

find it at the local library or hell go to the book store and read it there. it's that short.

I feel in love with his writing after picking up his vampire book title, 'You Suck'.  I realized that was a sequel to 'Bloodsucking Fiends' so I went out and got that book, read it then read 'You Suck'. I also loved 'The Stupidest Little Angel', but I that's because the real premise of that book is so cleverly hidden :)  Just picked up his latest book titled, 'Fool'.  Can't wait to dig into it!!

Christopher Moore just has a wonderful way of capturing the essence of a character...even if its a teenage, vampire loving, goth girl! _________________________________________________
