It took him nearly 30 years to complete the series and I like watching how he evolved as a writer. It really shows even just between books one and three. 

It's an epic adventure kind of like Lord of the Rings, but gory and fucked!

I put the laughter in manslaughter.

The name is deceptive but its good psychological horror.

I just finished David Wellington's book Monster Island.  It's the first in a trilogy of zombie books, Monster Nation and Monster Planet being the second and third book in the series.  It has some nice surprises :)  and it gave me a couple of nightmares!

Also, David Wellington is co-writing an umpcoming episode of The Crypt with our FDO!

It's a new book on the NYT Best Seller list. It's pretty good. I  recommend it.

Hexes is one of my favorite books of all time!!!!!

We all fear that which we cannot see!!!

I recommend Twilight, even though it has plenty of talking it is still a good book. If you have not already read it, Choke and Snuff by Chuck Palahnuik. King Dork, I forget who it's by but a great read. I am in process of reading Ender's Game to have it in my mind for English in a couple of weeks.

Book 4 was my favorite by far (Wizard and Glass right?)  There are comic books out based on the books which are okay, but don't really do the books much justice

Yeah but then Jordan and to go and die before the series was finished, so don't waist your time.

Being a substitute teacher I get many chances to read.  My favorite authors and series right now are George R. R. Marten Song of Fire and Ice series.  These books are some searious reading.  Also anything by Jim Butcher, these are always good for a laugh.   Then there's Steven Erickson for those who really want a intellegence challenge.  Give me a good werewolf or vampire read and I'm happy
