Vampires are a bit of a sore subject with me as I grew up really into the folklore mythology, so seeing how it's been turned into Sweet Valley Vampire more and more on the big screen these days, I get a bit put off when kids can't respect the awesomeness that was Bela Legosi or Christopher Lee.

But you, madam, sound to be on the right path.

I've read all the Twilight books, have seen the 1st movie and intend on seeing the one that comes out next month, but I have always been a huge vampire fan so anything that has vampires in it, I at least give a chance.  But I do agree that vampires should, without a shadow of a doubt, have fangs and should NOT be sparkly.

How bout Selene from Underworld...  I'm going more for that look - minus the black latex.  Latex and I are NOT friends!

Nothing.  I have absolutely no reason to get dressed up in a costume this year!  Ha Ha!  But my niece is going to be the Little Mermaid!

My Halloween was spent being underwhelmed at Paranormal Activity, nearly weeping as Oregon was trounced by Stanford, then full on wailing as to why the gods had forsaken me as I spent the rest of the night dealing with the aftermath of a pizza made with 18 habanero peppers. 

Though I may have to throw a pic up once indoor lacrosse season shows up and face painting comes back into season.

I’ve always been a heat fiend and have yet to find something so hot that I can’t consume it.  A friend of mine told me about a place in Idaho that makes a pizza with 18 habaneros, so I figured I’d make my own as the trip from Denver to Boise is a bit of a drive.

Was actually pretty good, too.
