no prob.  i knew the heart was in it.  it's a 5-7-5 count. 

These Silger based haikus are just too good.  So good, in fact, that it inspired art.

I'm still figuring out the logistics of the pages but what I've done is to take the words, as the Junkies have written them, and place them in what I would like to think is a journal, of sorts.  This is just the first page based on the haikus that were Infected/Contagious based.  The Rookie themed haikus will come next. Enjoy and keep writing them!

the trick to staying sane is to just out-crazy the world

athanas, zombie haiku is exactly what I modeled this effort after. 

I couldn't find an easy method of emulating their "paper" so I actually busted out my food coloring, duct tape and old notebooks and tried to emulate the look. Then I scanned them and created JPEG files where I could then photoshop in the haikus.  You guys (and gals) have so many good ones that it's making it fun to translate them into this journal-type format.

This is so much fun I can't stop.

The page has been updated with a version for The Rookie.  This has a bloody hand on the page with the text over it.  However, my hand is now stained red!

While I do love me some adult beverages, I was not drinking while convert these awesome haikus into art.  I was using food coloring to simulate blood stains on paper.  Check out the link and see how well it translated into a disturbing online journal of the haiku's all y'all have written.

Your hand looks like the inverse of the right side of the kraken's logo! Very nicely done. :)
