Siglerism flag design contest: WINNER

This design by Junkie John Meriln wins the contest, and is the official Flag of Siglerism. I thought this bold image would strike a striking figure when I strike death into the hearts of the world, using, of course, my strike force.

PRIZES:

• Signed hardcover of CONTAGIOUS
• Signed, mint-condition paperback of ANCESTOR (which is out of print)
• Appointment as Minster of Flag Design in Siglerism

I got the idea last night and it took me all day banging my head against PS to make it. the only thing about it is that it's very graphicaly confusing. I've got two more ideas that i'm working on, but I will save them for the end

I have windows 98 paint , that was when I got my computer in 98, and it does the job, staight graphic tools and nothing fancy, I am having fun.
Your flags are great looking I think we have to have more than one, we need a camp flag, a mess flag a medic flag, a my army is bigger than yours flag, etc. All under the One great flag of course.
I started posting mine to flicker so then can copy them to this site, . I will eventually post a link to the flicker site so I can annoy everyone with ALL my designs. I get confused and and post some twice or forget how I saved them on my computer, gettng to be old is OK only if you forget the things you don't want to remember.

maybe too much detail but still fun. FDO has good bone structure.

a bit too much detail. but these are good. try the designs with fewer bars, and no bordering lines. trust me, they will look 10x better

Too many gradients, would be impossible to sew something like that. Stick with more blocks of solid color, my friend.

A 10 year old program, huh? it gives the images a wierd rugged feel. kind of strange. I use PhotoShop just because of the profesional level quality you can produce at if you try hard enough
