Kind of reminds me of all those old sideshows that used to advertise that they had "real mermaids" that were really just monkey bodies sewn onto large fish tails. Some of these things are so much cooler though (and some are just as freaky)

Maybe this was Bry-Bry's 1st attempt. 

Freaky, yes. I didn't even know there was such a thing as "rogue taxidermy", let alone the fact that it's popular enough to have a tv competition show!

Some of this stuff might make good inspiration for some kind of creepy creature. Who knows we may one day see a what ever that thing was, or a squirrel-fish thing in one of Scott's books.

Dorm had a mini-flood last night, well not night it was four in the morning when I noticed the water coming from the ceiling, the sprinkler and even from the light fixture. Apparently the guys in the dorm above us had some kind of water back up and slept though the whole thing. Meaning that their dorm flooded and then it went into our place.

We're all ok; the carpet's just really damp and all of us roomies are really tired, since the fire alarm also went off and we had to spend an hour in the RA's dorm while he tried to get everything under control. 

That Sucks! was it the dripping water that woke you up? man, I think I would have been in a pretty shitty mood the rest of the day. So, what do they do about something like that? i mean do they let it air dry out? remove the carpet? seems to me in a couple of days you're gonna have some smelly carpet.

No I'd been up studing and was geting ready for bed when I saw the water. I'm used to plumbing backing up so I was pretty calm about the whole thing seeing as the water was clear (or clear as it gets on camput) if it had been poo water I probably would have freaked out a lot more.

Campus is going to gut the building over the summer, they did what they could but there's only like a month of school left and the repairs will be easier to do once they kick us out for the summer. 

The smell's not really a concern since we're all going to be out in less than a month and all older dorms smell funky. For all we know the flood might have actually imporved the smell of the guys' dorm above us. I don't want to sound sexist but you can usually tell which dorms have had guys in them. 

Does anyone else smile when the see the words poo water? I'll grow up one of these days I swear... ahh yes, Man stink. You won’t hear any argument from me, you get a bunch of guys together in a small area and we just stink. I shared a 2 bedroom house with 3 other dudes and after a while we had to develop rules like leaving shoes and sandals outside... any dirty clothes that you didnt plan on washing right away needed to be sealed in a garbage bag and finally dont leave food anywhere. While this may be common sense to women, men need to learn this the hard way.

I hate liking shitty sports teams.

The '06 Champions Cup win and another year of going one-and-done in the post season is starting to get taxing as a lacrosse fan.

Come on Seahawks...give me something to chear for this fall.
