Well, I write a serial (would podcast, but I don't have the voice for it) - Mirrorfall, not very violent/gory and doesn't contain much horror, but it's geeky urban fantasy (which makes up at least a little for the lack of chicken scissors).

I have tried to DM but like Gmork said, sadly if you are not following me, I cannot DM you.

 all you do is type in d @username and it works just fine. No worries. Spammers don't bother with the TrueTwit verification, and I always look at the actual twitter page of folks before I block them.

Spammers are fairly obvious, and I've found that most junkies are as well

  Ask ten of your friends. Don't judge it yourself. We all think we sound like crap. We need more geeky urban fantasy in the podosphere. Seriously. The only one I can think of off the top of my head that's any good is Lester's Metamor City.

  Or if you're *really* shy, give it to a friend and let them podcast it. You've seen (and heard) what Scott has done giving his content away through RSS and on PB.com. It's the way to go. Use creative commons to your advantage. Decent rigs are cheap. It's the time you put into editing that really makes the difference.

  If you have a good story, get it up somehow. Remember those famous words: "Fear is the mind killer." Don't let your lack of confidence in your voice inhibit your aspirations. Of course, if all you want to do is post your stories as a hobby, that's cool too. I just got the impression that you would do more, but you were using your perception of your voice as an excuse to hold you back.

  Think of the solution, not the problem. Gorram, I've been using that an awful lot lately. Damn you Goodkind!
