I don't know what happend with Ancestor.  I don't think I have the original any more. I know I use to.

In the past they have come down as new feeds and I did not lose the ones I had already downloaded.  You should be fine but since computers are known to crash, I would suggest that you download your files to an external drive and/or to DVDs.  I have all of the podcasts saved that way including the original Infection.  At least that's been my experience.

I realized I had the original saved on my PSP (the one that got stolen,) so if anyone has a link to the original files, I would be quite grateful.

It should have no effect at all on what you already have, it's on your computer so it's your file. Since I don't have it though grabbing a copy from iTunes might not be such a bad idea. That's tomorrow nights mission then.

I will usually take a back up copy from ITunes for offline storage once podcast has finished. I also take backups from Podiobooks where the ss versions have less jibber jabber but that's up to you! ;)
