Megalith Smackdown - vote for the FD∅!

Ok, for those of you who don't know already, Megalith is having a battle of the Authors type voting competition. Each round, authors go up against other authors in a battle royale for all the glory. The FD∅ needs your vote!

Round 1 was a decisive win, pitting our Dark Overlord against Jack DuBrul. Sigler and his junkies put the smackdown on HARD, winning 53-21 and securing his advance to Round two.

Make sure you vote as many times as you can - once from each device you have - it's tracked by IP address, apparently. So hop from hotspot to hotspot if you have to!

Ok junkies, this is going to be a tough one on TWO fronts:

1) The contest is on Saturday - this means for myself that I will be down 2 votes I can cast since I won't be at work.

2) Last round, Stacy Cochran got 115 votes. That's more than TWICE the number of votes Sigler got for round one.

I will be asking junkies to float this thread at the top to keep awareness up all week long. We cannot let the FD∅ down! Spread the word! Facebook! Twitter! Etc.!

Remember, round two starts on May 22. Vote early, and vote often! We need to bring in a LOT more voters!

Jeremy Robinson, who has put together the cross-pollination event (http://www.scottsigler.com/node/3754) has his 2nd round matchup on May 23, 2010. It's a Sunday, so he'll need extra support as well. He's pimping the FD∅ with his cross-pollination; we junkies should reciprocate.

After completely hosing my original promise to pimp this out, I got my 3 votes in. Damn, this one is close! I can't believe the number of junkies that voted! Saweet! At this time, the count is 408-401 for the FDO!

Ok, so I don't know whether they count East Coast or West Coast midnight for closing the polls, but it's midnight on the West Coast now, and Scott Sigler is in the lead by 19. I think that's a pretty sure victory!

Junkies turned out by the Plaid *UCK YEAH bus-load to vote in the most hotly contest battle so far! Our FDØ got more votes than all the combined combatants for battles 1-4 of the second round. THe combined voting total for both FDØ and Stacey was easily more than battles 1-5 of the second round.

Round three will be pretty intense, I'm sure, but I think we can push through again! I was able to vote 5 times this round, how about you?

Tomorrow is Jeremy Robinson's match. Let's show him some cross-pollination love and throw the support of the Junkies behind him!
