Junkie Con 2011?

Due to tons of traffic on Twitter regarding a possible "Junkie Con," and the fact someone (ah-hem @sadock) seems to think I'm in charge or organizing said event, I think we should spend a little time talking about this.

First off, location? Somewhere central to both coasts would be nice, but I keep hearing "Las Vegas" as a potential site, although Denver is probably more centrally located.

Secondly, besides insane amounts of alcohol, Siglerism prayer meetings and general supplication to the Future Dark Overlord, what kinds of panels/events would there be? What would you like to do at Junkie-Con? Start brainstorming people. Otherwise, it will just turn into a massive party (not that I'm against that).

Thirdly, what should be the timing? Balticon is end of May, Dragon*Con is Labor Day Weekend. So what is a good time of year to have it?

I reckon 2011 is still quite a ways away, so there's no immediate rush on this. We're still kicking around ideas anyway. :-)

Or maybe we could even broadcast parts of the Con via webcam! Then the Junkies that can't physically be there can "virtually" be there!

I've shaved it in the past. I guess the question now is whether we would shave it before going, or while we're there? Anyone else?

I might also suggest for the long-haired women, maybe they might consider cutting their hair and donate it to Locks of Love. My wife does so every couple of years (I hate it - dig chicks with long hair...yum...) Um, anyway, 10-inch minimum donation, goes to a good cause.
