Personally, I would prefer Vegas, but Denver would be good, too. I'm up for anywhere; I think it'd be cool to just get together.

There would have to be a party element; We need to have an in-person Bar Fight. Panels and events? Holy cow, that sounds like a good idea! Maybe we should orchestrate a live-action production of one of the short stories? I dunno. I'm not so good at the ideas.

As far as timing goes, I think Summer or Fall would be nice. Are there any cons in Vegas that the FDO might attend?

But Vegas is always awesome because...well, it's Vegas.  Plus, timing isn't really an issue as the weather in the desert is normally fairly grand at all times.

Athanas v. Big John Century Club Live: The Rematch (or just get a big group together and go until there's 1 person standing)
Krakens v. ??? Flag Football game (look into possibly getting jerseys for an opposing team made for the event, if possible)

Depending on when, if it's in Denver, there's a chance we could storm a sporting event in Krakens gear, regardless of sport

Because no one wants to be on the Krakens' opposing team, what about Krakens (Tier 1) vs. Mccovi Raiders (Tier 3)?

Michigan?  In the summer time?  Manitou Island?  Or Denver, or Vegas, wherever.  Just as long as they have an airport close by.  Time?  Depends on kid friendliness and other holidays...

How big are we thinking here?  If we're thinking "THAT BIG" then it can be a con for podcast novelists and podcast novel listeners with a focus on Grandpa Sigs. 

Panels on everything from using social media to push your content for the authors out there...
And panels on things such as, How to optimize your podcast listening pleasure.  Or iTunes vs. the Zune marketplace.

This is wide open people.  Or we could just make it a party about Sigler.  Which I'm cool with too.  But is the Podcast Novel genre really that big and large?  How big and large is it?  I'll check back

Or, we could come up with a series of ways the crowd could "buy in" to make us do things, like a double-shot minute or free shot (no shot that time) or something along that. 

And if actual funds become involved, I would be very, very, very much for giving whatever's raised to a charity of some sort, you know, to not feel so bad about my raging alcoholism.

Make it be a party; I'm afraid if we ask someone to organize an entire con with events and all that, that person might not enjoy themselves as much.

How about this for an idea? Pandemic and the All-Pro are supposed to come out next year; if the All-Pro comes out around the same time as The Starter, then maybe a September launch party would be in order.

I'm all for the idea of planning some events (I'm really digging the football game idea) and what not, but I think just a mass get together would be awesome for the first time around.

And, if it grows into a success, everyone had fun, and we start planning for another one, THEN start coming up with the major schedule ideas and the like.

But missing a shot? With our small bladders? I don't know about you, but there were a couple times there where i had to do 2-3 shots in a room for potty breaks.

I'm for donating buy-in money, too...but I'm a little frightened as to what we might be asked to.

Someplace (or time) warm would be a definite plus.  A whole regular con thing would be fun and I would be up for that, but I agree with Athanas.  A Junkie exclusive event would be really sweet.  It would be seriously awesome to meet everyone face to face.  And I would love to watch Big John and Athanas go at it in real life!    I'd be raising a few of my own to that!

A lot of people are digging on the launch style party too...  Which would definitely need to be coordinated with A. 

In the events that I've been to with the FDO, All four of them, he's drank but never gotten snockered.  I think it's about time...

What about a"Live" Get Pissed with the FDO with Big John & athanas?

Also, maybe take on of the short stories and get some Junkies to do a live dramatization? Extra points for playing the character named for you.

I'd love to see some timing around either April 1 (Ascension day), the launch date of one of the GFL books, or even a football weekend where we can all root for the G.D. Detriot Lions right alongside the FDO.

Love to see something with Fan Fic and Fan Art also. AND t-SHIRT!!!! Must have a totally awesome f'ing t-shirt for everyone.
