Welcome to the world of tweets! Not sure about the iPhone. Will have to check the Apple Store to see if there's an app for it. Or one of the other junkies with an iPhone might roll in.

but can't bring myself to buy one in Europe. Just fearful that for some reason when I bring it back to the states and try to set up with a US vendor, they'll tell me I can't use "that" iPhone...

at the bottom of the Twitter page is a link for apps. They have a couple you can use on the iPhone. I use Twitteriffic, I haven't tried any of the others though......
