No one gets to touch my copy of the Rookie, I did buy one for the son-in-law (recently freed from his unfortunate incarceration, thank the gods). I only have the paperback of Infected (It's ALL they had after looking at several stores) but I do have the hardback of Contagious that I loaned to my step-daughter and she gave it back in pristine condition.

Yeah, 2 copies. One to keep and one to send out in into the world to spread the joy that is Siglerism.

It's a kid's book -- but the important thing is that kids often do a Flat Stanley project where they make a big paper doll of Stanley and color it and then send it in the mail to someone. And that someone writes in Stanley's travel diary and sends it to someone else, etc. My daughter's Stanley went from GA to Wales to Columbia University (met the Law School Dean) and was last heard of in Texas. Musta got on the wrong side of the law.

But I digress. I think I'm going to get an extra copy of "Ancestor" when it comes out and send it out into the world a la Flat Stanley. Ask the people who receive the book to write a note in the front/back pages and invite them to become Junkies, etc. Then they HAVE to give the book to someone else so that chain can continue.

Yeah... that's the ticket. Guess it will need to go hand to hand for the most part since Scott's books are a little heavy for mailing.

Man, I miss that little guy. But anyway. Doing the same sort of thing with a Sigler book sounds like an awesome idea! Let me know how it works out, when and if you can, cause that's an awesome idea. (Yes, I realized I said awesome idea twice thrice now, lol.)

How about Flat Perry? It's an idea that's been rattling around in my mind for some time. I thought about making a paper Perry Dawsey doll and mailing it out to a bunch of my fellow Junkies around the world. They could take him around their city/town/village/post-apocalyptic wasteland and take some pictures, then send him off on a new adventure someplace else.

wait for Earthcore and Mt Fitzroy to come out. I loved Earthcore, it was my first podcast to listen to. And it got me hooked for all things Sigler

These all sound great. I just finished The Rookie. I can't wait for The Starter as well as all of the other GFL books. I'm 1/2 way through Infected. Am I correct in assuming that Pandemic is a second sequal, picking up after Contagious?

pandemic is the third in the series.

And for once I can tell you there will be no more sequels in that series. And I mean it this time. Picks up several years after CONTAGIOUS leaves off (and remember, peeps, no spoilers here!)
