It was great meeting you last year, Finaldrive!  This year, I'll have my Krakens jersey!! I'll also be supporting my hubbie in the premiere of his first movie (as an actor) named Browncoats:Redemption.  I spewed about this before but if you're a Firefly/Serenity fan then you'll love this little diddy.  The movie is going straight to DVD and can now be pre-ordered but the film will be shown on the big screen just before the Browncoat Ball on saturday night (9/4).  If you can't make it to Dragon*Con and want to see the movie, it will be streamed online that evening as a simulcast - one night only.  That will be available at the movie's site:

It's very exciting! Between Browncoats:Redemption premiering, the Parsec awards for podcasting and Junkie meetups, I expect to get very little sleep that weekend

I don't normally do costumes either but I do love looking at everyone else who does.  This year I bought costumes for my hubbie and I to wear to the Browncoat Ball on Saturday night.  People come dressed in Firefly/Serenity inspired costumes which pretty much means just about anything.  Last year we didn't dress up but I though we'd take a stab this year and dress up.  We'll both be wearing Regency era clothing (mostly because I wanted him to  look like Mr. Darcy) with some modifications to make them look Firefly-ish.
