I've begun a new CHs thread over here. If you want to reply to a comment from this thread, it's pretty simple.

If you're responding to someone's comment, cut and paste it to get it over here. Use the subject line for comment attribution and then put *both* the original subject line and the body of old message into the new message. You get an EXTRA 5 CHs for all that hard (coughs) work.

So if the original comment is:

I heard that

On June 25th, 2010 (11:27 GMT) athanas (MC) says:

today has not been kind to me, though getting some food in me at lunch seemed to help things out.

and you wanted to respond to it, you would put "Athanas said" in the subject line and "I heard that today has not been kind to me, though getting some food in me at lunch seemed to help things out." Easy enough? And you certainly do not have to transfer comments to the new thread. I simply thought some of you might want to keep existing threads going.

I wanted to make sure you had a way to transition over.

Why are we doing this? The more comments in a thread the longer it takes to load. As you can imagine, the original Crack Hits thread is frakkin' HUGE. So hopefully this will speed things up. Have fun twacking, cracking, and generally having a good time.

I am a dumb-ass, what can I say.. True mumo has to work outside all day while I get to stay nice and comfy here in my air conditioned office. I should feel bad about that but I dont. It actually gives me those warm/fluffy feelings you get sometimes, know what I mean?

-(i'll keep posting, i just never expected to be this far in the lead as far as crack hits are concerned) i just have time in my day to respond to EVERY comment, although i don't. there are some threads yuo won't find me in and a few i currently no longer comment in for no other reason than i see no need to comment there. and there a some other reasons i do not comment to every post i could. i have cut the number of gratuitous comments down (like responding to mumo00 and wallerdad's OBVIOUS play for attention and jam's braintrust drivel) but then this could be construed as an unnecessary comment and a play for attention and mindless drivel. ok you got me, it is. but i digress,
