I was only 11 when I got thrown off. It was a bit of a freak accident as there was a circus in the next field and a baby elephant wondered into ours and he horse freaked, bucked and ran.

Horses don't like me. I used to like horses, but they don't like me. I've had too many bad experiences with horses (never been thrown or bit, though) that I know horses and me aren't meant to be with 100 yards of each other.

It's too bad, really, I look really good on the back of a horse, all majestic and centurion-like. Oh well, your loss, equus.

...but he made a break for it, ran straight towards the house, then stopped dead at the fence. I went straight over his head, over the fence and into the garden. First and last time I ever rode a horse!
