I just saw Rise:Blood Hunter.  It starred Lucy Liu, Michael Chicklis, Carla Gugino, and James D'Arcy.  A fun movie if you can get past the total lack of vampire lore.  Some gratuitous nudity from Lucy Liu.  My favorite quote - "There are only two passions left, sex and murder, they are even better when combined".  Fun for Halloween.

You do have a point, No Nazi Werewolf movies. I was surprised because I never even thought of that combination! So I goggled Nazi Werewolf and the only film that appeared is Rob Zombie's "Werewolf Women of the SS" which I have never seen.

i read your guys' post on this movie, saw it on netflix and decided to give it a try... glad i did! i liked how several events were tied together in a sick "getting what you deserve" kind of way.

A wondreful movie

came out early 90's, it was on my "movies you might like"  picks, so i gave it a try. I really liked the idea of the movie...  a few doctors/med students  want know what happens after they die... is there really a white light? a voice? anything?  so they  kill and resuscitate  themselves to find out...also a great cast

I saw that movie a few years back but it was pretty good. I do like the premiss though

in several locations in and around the city of Chicago, including the Loyola University Lakeshore campus while I was attending school there!!  They took over much of the campus during filming and the actors were on super-secret lock-down!  We barely got glimpses of them while they were there!

The Green Lantern.  What a waste of 2 hours.  I fell asleep during it so I went back and re-watched it the next day hoping that I missed something redeeming in it.  NOT, so I guess it was actually more than 2 hours I wasted.

Man, I saw it and was blown away, no pun intended.  Michael Parks is one dark and charismatic SOB.  I was riveted by his performance.  Too good!

This was so much fun!  I love the idea of looking at a campy slasher flick from the point of view of the "slashers".  I realize it didn't gel in the reality dept. but it was so much fun I don't care.  I laughed my ass of and that's alot of laughing!

The long and short of it: this dude needs money for his fathers surgery. He pretends to be someone else and ends up in a very well paying roulette contest. Its no Christopher walken in Deer Hunter…. But its alright

Not so muched as fell asleep to. Exciting if you likes watching B&W CCTV for things to move. this one has a dog and a kid into the mix with inveitable results.
