I've not gotten into the second season yet, so keep you gorram spoilers to yourself, but I thought season 1 was really frakkin' well writtern. The characters had depth, even the really evil, bad guy was more than just "Really Evil, Bad Guy". The fact that things didn't always work out for the best, which is my favourite type of story. The randomness and violence of Syler's killings should be enough to keep any junkie happy.

rented half the first season and I love it. Good story, cool powers, cliffhangers galore.

Wallerdad mentioned the writer's strike in his post earlier this year. Stand by folks, the actors are going to strike this coming season. Unless something changes, we have another season of goobered-up TV coming.

Season 1 was awesome

Season 2 was confused and disappointing (I blame the writers strike)

Season 3 so far is hit or miss, some great stuff, some stuff falls flat.

the above are my opinions and should be ignored at all costs.

i was very confused about whether Sylar was getting his awesome power back or not. plus, I think it would have been better if peter had actually died

The second was a total loss and the third was only little better than the second one.

I am glad that Heroes did not do the cop out and just give Peter his Powers back because everything

was "reset". I think if the writers could just get their stride back or hell put Sigler on the writing

staff it could get back to the level of season 1.

Kill a bunch of the charcters off once Fugitives starts airing, even the popular ones. We need to get rid of a Petrelli or two (or three). Sylar should go back to being evil (like he was in the first season, no more of this wishy-washy crap). HRG ought to be the one to finally off Sylar. He'll find a way to do it, but will the writers ever do it? I hope so. They really need to shake things up on that show.

has had next week monday as the start of the next segment of heroes.

I had to stop my recorder so it would stop recording stupid stuff.

I enjoyed it. It was cool seeing Sylar take on a bunch of assailants and the capture of the various characters. The "plane full of people that looks like it's going down" cliffhanger was a nice touch too.

I hope this season can avoid sucking. Please? Is that too much to ask?
