He did say it ain't so in the latest Bloodcast. The issues are worked out, and we're go for our sequels!

I was listening to the BloodCast, hearing all the other junkies pipe in, and hearing Siggie chirp, "Done"... Good to hear it was all done. I can only hope for many many many more sequels that hopefully tie in different characters from previous novels/stories of the "Siglerverse". That way when you have like 30 books under your belt ala-Pratchett some crazed fan can make a "Sigler Reading Order Map" so as to not confuse the freshly converted junkie newbs.
