My pick to play Perry when the movies come out would be Nathan Jones. If you don't know who he is he was the giant dude that Jet Li fought in Fearless. I cant remember off hand. But wasn't Perry like 6'6" or better? I always thought of Nathan Jones http://tinyurl.com/bx6qzf (6"11") as a good pic for Perry.

I also thought R. Lee Ermey http://tinyurl.com/l5yq9m would be a good pick for Dew.

I like that pick even better than my suggestion of Sam Elliot. Heck, he's even the right age. He was in VietNam, though he was a Staff Sgt. at the time.
