ZOMBIES!!!! I think Sigler is way too talented for Zombies. Sorry. But I think Zombies are lame. The only Zombie's I ever like was the video game Resident Evil, and the movie Shawn of the Dead.

We've seen the video of the Playa's Ball. What if the whole thing were a cover by a lunatic to take over the world? What if he were able to implant in each of the attendees their desire to help him by carrying out his every mad wish? What if they were to bring him young ladies in chain mail to slake his thirst for young blood? I saw plenty of people bringing him their young ladies, whether they intended to or not. I didn't realize at the time it was to slake his thirst for blood, but I had been drinking heavily and had to climb 14 flights of stairs to get up there. -- The ways of the Lord are often dark but never pleasant.

Zombies are always a good story topic, but I do have to agree that Siggie would have to find a new approach. I can't say that I would eagerly anticipate a regular old Zombie story from the Dark Lord himself. PMS gone horribly, horribly wrong. Ragging nutjob women just hacking the fuck out of people. *and i can say that, I happen to be one of those nutjobs from time to time, a good "women are friggin' crazy and scary" story might be fun.

Scott has done well with scifi, horror,noir, or mixes of them why not romance. There is a little in Earthcore. I could imagine Mrs. Sigler reading the last epilogue of Earthcore and saying No,Scott that is not the way I want to spend a honeymoon. He could cure the problems with romance like not enough explosions, car chases, spaceships,or other thing that make a readable. Tittles like "Your holding the Ki of my Heart for Ransom" "Love Me or Die" "I slept with your doppelganger but I never stopped thinking it was you" " You Took My Heart and I have only minutes to Live"

That was my favorite story so far. A retro story about his former cases might be fun. The other stories by Scott on Pseudopod and Escape Pod were very good too. I better not say more about chuckles or the children's book because I don't want Scott to send the Bag Man after me.

Personally, I'd like to hear more stories set in the era of The Rookie. not necessarily football related, but all gangsta and sci-fi and they had better have GORE --kevin

Yeah, there should be another Rookie but with no football. I can't bear football but there was just enough sci-fi and gangster stuff in there to keep me interested.

I've got to say that I think something along the lines of his Hero story from Escape Pod would be great. It was a real departure from the stuff that I was used to hearing from him, and was really enjoyable. Also, a sequal/prequal to Iowa Typhoon would be great. I would love to see that story fleshed out.

HE could do zombies but maybe make them a minor problem in which the whole world is ending or a world where all supernatural things do exist. I think scott could pull that off with very gruesome events maybe even make it a black comedy.

I was thinking the children's book written by the author in the story "Fanny The Fluffy Kitten" as a companion book like Terry Pratchett's "Where is my Cow" goes with "Thud"

when between books again............. i like the sicko bastard stories ............. lenny and george type stories .......... seemingly normal until they get you in their hidyhole ......... Does horror always have to have a "happy" ending??
