Which has been your favorite Bloodcast? which has really crawled under your skin? Why?

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
My favorite bloodcasts include: The Passenger (eventhough it hasn't been completed yet) - I just love sci-fi military stuff. Snipe Hunt - This came out of no where for me. Fantastic concept. Wolf - Very unique. Redman - I love the world painted here. It felt quite real. Bagman - Really creepy.

Snipe Hunt and Sacred Cow (seen strangerthings.tv?). Even though sacred cow wasn't officially a Bloodcast, same difference.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
I think that Kissyman was one of the better ones for the implications and along with Red Man. some of the things with the Passenger really freaked me out. I was listening to it during a work out and when he started talking about how you don't think of moving your arm it just happens. I don't know but it was a very surreal moment that I enjoyed, even though it freaked the shit out of me.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
Dug it big time. A little different, but Sigler is showing us he is not a one trick pony. Iowa Typhoon was cool as well, nice build up, you knew something was a little off, not just because it was a Sigler story, and then he brought it home.

The Passenger is my favorite so far. Just imagining eating raw human flesh against my will gave me the chills. Plus I thought the flashback mechanic kept it intriguing.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
I have to say that Snipe Hunt was my favourite. Most of the other BloodCasts were quick, bloody and to the point. Snipe Hunt, IMHO, shows Siggie thinking and working to tie in people from Real Life, who a lot of people know, incorporate some of their mannerisms into a story and still weave his dark genius around them. Priceless. Also a very awesome story. It took the horror angle and played around with it, by putting right in your back yard. ------- Whole Lot of Nonsense PodCast - http://www.wholelotofnonsense.org UUCSH Sunday Services - http://uucsh.libsyn.com Follow Me - http://www.twitter.com/bpende Pownce on Me - http://www.pownce.com/bpende

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
I'd have to agree with that. It was a great question to ask" "Where do prayers go?" and he gave us a very Sigler answer. That is the perfect way to for strangerthings to start out their vidcast, and it got me hooked on them. -- The ways of the Lord are often dark but never pleasant.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
Iowa Typhoon takes the cake for me. It was a great story, and a great decision by Scott to NOT read it. Indiana Jim had that something "special" that made the story much more real, and in a way I don't think Sigler could portray. Great story, great listen. I waited and waited to listen to that one because it didn't sound all that interesting, but I was as wrong as could be.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
Red Man rocked for it's dystopian feel, as well as it's "Life of David Gale" you-got-the-wrong-guy'edness. This was not a story, but a documentary of the future. Kissyman rocked for it's World War II spy noir type feel, from the spun out nazi perspective. But my !!!FAVORITE!!! was snipe hunt, because I could actually see those little bastards running around. Not SEE see, but imagine. Great story.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
I would probably pick Iowa Typhoon. For a short story, it had it all... The snipe hunt was really cool, but somewhat formulaic and didn't really have that many surprises or a real twist ending. Red Man was really cool too, but I got more WTF impressions off of Iowa Typhoon. Also mentioned above, Indiana Jim was perfect for the reading... Re: Favorite Bloodcast
It's a terribly tough choice to make, but I have to say The Passenger really drew me in and had me jonesing for the conclusion. You really nailed the military feel on this story. The sound effects were pretty tight this time, too.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
I do have trouble picking my favorite out of all the kickass stories in the Bloodcast, but Passenger just had too much for me to not put it on the top of my "Why I'm a Junkie" list. Honestly, where else can you get far future technology, some white-knuckle action, zombie-esque cannabalism, and buckets of gore? Thats right, no-F#@$ing-where.

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
It's like picking a favorite child. They are all so different, and good in their own way! I guess if I had to narrow it down, I'd go with Iowa Typhoon because it was such an interesting story, and you really didn't know where it was going until you were deep into it. My other fav is Bag Man, I think I really liked it because the kid was just so darn polite!

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
Snipe Hunt. Fer sure! But he should have ended it with the snipes taking a dump in a garbage bag. That woulda been priceless. --kevin

Re: Favorite Bloodcast
Ach, du lieber, Kissyman; he survived the surreal life as a Nazi drone. Now he has the skills of a stone-cold killer and a dawning realization that there are, in fact, ethics to consider. Well, maybe he'll consider them, and maybe he won't. It's hard to know when he's as psychotic as Sigler. Its kind of like playing Russian roulette...on the eastern front; imported for your pleasure to the good ol' US of A!
