Last year, TwoWire earned the Iron Man award from Scott for his oustanding devotion to the cause. I think he hit four stops on the ROOKIE tailgate tour and I'm not sure how many he hit on the CONTAGIOUS tour. He used planes and his car to go all over the frakkin' country stalking Scooter.

In 2008, Synaptic Jam came drove (?) down from Minnesota to see the FDO in Texas. Twice, I think. Ever wonder wonder why the CRYPT is named the James Keeling?

So who's going to be the most devoted this time around? Will it be one of these old hands? Some of the younger fresher blood in the newer generations of 2Js & 3Js? Possibly a young buck who comes in at the last minute after the book comes out as a 4J?

This is the place to talk trash about who will go the furthest to show how devoted they are to see their FDO. Yes, it's a contest. No, there's not a set prize. At least not yet. You never know.....

New York and Boston are right nearby me so I'm trying to decide if I want to take 2 days off and hit both. Any junkies planning on hitting up eithe rof these events? I'd like to see how many forum Junkies I can meet and if I can only hit up one of these spots I want to maximize opportunities.

So how bout it Junkies? NYC or Boston?

The CA part of my baby tour is still in the planning stages. Currently it's looking like a land bound loop of Phoenix->San Diego->Los Angeles->Home. That plan is fairly doable, but I still need to check and make sure I have a place to stay in Sandy Eggo. LA may prove tricky. If I do this I have to do it on the cheap, and I'm having difficulty thinking of anyone I know who lives in or around LA.

I may still try to get San Francisco in there, but it's pretty damn far up the coast. It'd make driving back ~14-16 hours from San Fran to Flag. That's a mighty long ways to handle at one stretch on your own. I'm investigating the flying option, but that's not looking economically viable. Plus I hate flying now. All the civil liberties we give up in the name of terror prevention is really brought home at the airport.

I would go to Dallas too but that is going to be a 5 hr drive from Dallas on Friday to SA on Saturday. So I would have to drive 5 hours friday to get to Dallas, 5 hrs Sat to get from Dallas to SA and then about 3.5 hours from SA back to Houston on Sunday.

I'm throwing in for the rest of my vacation time and I'm just going to go for it!

I can hit NYC and MA easily from my house (much as I despise going to NYC). Then I can take the rest of my time off to drive to IL, then to MI, then to Toronto, all on my way back home to Central NY! 5 stops!

And I'll still have a few days to recover before I have to go back to work.

It's ~3.5 hours Flagstaff to Tempe, ~7 hours Phoenix to Sandy Eggo, 2 hours Sandy Eggo to LA, and another 8 hours LA to Flagstaff.

San Antonio, Dallas and then maybe even Denver if it works out for me. Dont know if I'll get a chance to make it anywhere else. I would love to get out to Cali for a stop.

Ya I was thinking about trying to hit a few and thought Canada might be a possible stop I could hit. Start In MN then Chi up to Mich then Canada. But alas I do not have my travling papers. I will with out a doubt be at the Minnesota stop. The others are still just a thought yet. I was going to see what Synaptic was going to do since we both live near the Cities.
