If anyone has reasons for their order of preference I'd love to know why too.

eg The Rookie will always be my No1 because it was my first hit of sigler crack but more than that it introduced me to your kind of football and made it accessible to someone who hasn't grown up with the sport.  Because of The Rookie I'm now a huge NFL fan (in the making.... still got a lot to learn). I was never much of a fan of soccer so this has given me a proper league orientated sport to follow.  

Will try and do my list later but just been called out on a job.

BTW Sadock is that your order 1-11 or was that just the order you remembered them in?

The Bloodcasts screw things up because I don't know exactly where to put them. I still find it highly entertaining that Season 3 of the Bloodcast only has one story in it. It should hit PB.com circa 2025 or so.

1. Infected (my intro to Sigler; you never forget your first love)
2. The Rookie (man, I just love it. It's the only one I've listened to more than once, but my junkiehood is still young)
3. Nocturnal (it's local for me, and I loves me superhero type stories)
4. Contagious (I love unhappy endings)
5. Ancestor (a close tie with #4; can't wait for the rewrite!)
6. Earthcore (not sure why this is last on my list)
7. Kissyman & The Gentleman (love the character, plus i'm a little biased on this one. Shockingly, less death than some other stories)
8. The Crypt 01 (fantastic character essays, introduces great concepts (Grzzzzt, radar mold). This one has left me begging for more moreso than the others - BUT: all novels were available complete to me, so I didn't have to wait for any of the podcast episodes)
9. Title Fight (it's hard to rank one of them third!)
10. Bloodcast Season 2 (holy crap, this one is just made of podiogasm. CHuckles, Kissyman, Hero, Passenger and Charlie Brown)
11. Bloodcast Season 1

Yes, I have listened to many more than once!  This is how I rank them today.  Tomorrow may be another story but I doubt Earthcore will every drop from numero uno!

1. Definitely has to be The Rookie for the reasons mentioned in my previous post (without wanting to sound melodramatic this book changed my life what with football and with podbooks taking so much time in my working day)

2. Nocturnal: I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did and anything that surprises me is a win. It's also a bit of a superhero format and I love that ... LOVE IT!!! Plus my Biology teacher got all flustered when I started talking about Kleinfelters syndrome during a lecture on gametes ... priceless

3. Ancestor : love the whole premise for this one and I think that the idea behind it is as cool as the biofiction that goes along with it. Can not wait for the rewrite!

4. Infected: One of the things I love most in a book is the character development and by the end of this one how can you not feel that you know Perry probably better than most of your friends.

5. This was a close runner for  the 4 spot Title Fight. The only thing that I didn't love about this story was that it was to damn short!

6. Earthcore: This would likely have featured higher but for 2 things caves give me the willies (although I'm not particularly claustrophobic with small above ground spaces) Most of the characters are not especially likeable until they have to be to survive. Still rocks though.

7. Contagious: No reason why this is lower down other than the bar was set so high by the others and when compared to Infected there's just not depth of concern for the character(s)

8. The Crypt : love the premise for this but need to see where this goes before it moves higher up my play order

9. kissyman : again characters to relate to I find it harder to route for someone who is this disturbing.

10 + 11 the Bloodcasts some of these just need to be longer, although they can be nice to easily digest one at a time in the morning while carrying out my daily ablutions 

I may find that some of these change dependent on sequels but am certain that No 1 ain't gonna change

I know Earthcore and Infected would be 1 & 2. But the rest would be difficult for me....

I allocated points to each position 10for first place, 9 for second down to 1 for tenth and 0 for eleventh.  For people who could not rank them with out splitting categories i gave a first place tie to each of their categories tops and averaged the score

I'm disqualifying those who split their votes into categories

1. They don't know how to follow simple directions and
2. I seriously doubt they meant that they liked all the #1s the same.
3. What you did here is one reason I did this. It will let Scott and I look at what the Junkies like best. If we weigh split category ties as equal, it skews the voting totally out of whack.

John and Phantom need to go back and re-cast their votes in one set of numerical values if they wish to be included in the data collation. Totally up to them.

You go sadock, get John and Phantom in line!! I want to see where the fans rank the books!

(The Bloodcast seasons have to get the short end of the stick.  They are not novels but collections of short stories and in each season I don't necessarily like every story in that season.  Or, I may like some season 1 stories better than other season 2 stories and vice versa.  Overall, I preferred Season 2, which is why I ranked them the way I did.)
