Clayton Detweiler I'm probably ensuring his doom by writing this, aren't I, Scott? I love the way Scott does his voice and Yooper accent. I love that he's an old crusty guy that no one takes seriously. I love that all his crazy stories about the famous people he's met are probably true. He's an action hero in his own story. I want to see a short story about Manitou Island when Clayton was young. If you kill this guy, I'll never forgive you. (And I know a sniper . . .)

Jian. Yeah, granted she jumped on the fuck nut bus to crazy town, but I think Scott truly captured scientists who are pushed to the edge. Trust me, I know.

I loved Clayton's Yooper accent as well. He's definitely one of my favorite inhabitants of the Siglerverse. Don't kill him. you can maybe kille me off in one of your books instead. ;)

hahahahaha I agree. I am writing grants that have less than a 10% chance of being accepted and the purse strings are tighter than ever from the funders. How are we expected to topple governments and create abominations when I don't even have enough scratch for my underground lair? I think Patrick O'Doyl is my favorite. He has what it takes to survive in the siglerverse.

I would also agree that Clayton was my favorite. But as far as a bad guy goes, I think Magnus took the fucking cake on that one. I think that magnus could kick anyones ass. I would love to see a fight Magnus Vs Sylar from heroes. That would be cool as hell!

Baby McButter was just a cool monster! Anyone who can come up with a freaky-scary cow monster named Baby McButter is one messed up dude! Glad you have writing as an outlet for all that stuff going on in your head Scott! I'd hate to see what would happen if you didn't!

Sure, I loved the creatures. I cheered for Baby McButter. The human award, though, definitely goes to Clayton. Count me in Jian's fan club also. I'm fascinated by savant wild talents--and Jian's intuition for DNA sequences, enabling her to contemplate the organism after seeing the genetic code, is intriguing. She's on two edges--that of science, and her own.

I just hope they don't come up with a cure for whatever is seriously wrong with Scott's mind and force it on him. Sigler, I suppose since you're a native Michigan resident (Wolverines and Lions suck, go Packers and Badgers), you have some reference to the U.P. I lived up there for a few years and damn if your Clayton accent wasn't spot on. Those Yoopers are exactly as you described them. Hardy and mean as hell if they want to be. Great story.

When I was in university a year o two ago, a prof of mine was in the middle of a break down and some one else observed that at least one person in a department has a brake down a year. But Jian was sensible enough to want to pull the plug early and that gets my vote of confidence.
