Picked up a copy of Ancestor on Friday 2 April at Swancon. Finished reading it Sunday evening.  It is one heck of a rollercoaster ride and a fun read!  Science is plausible, well researched and keeps the story rocking along.  Pace gets frantic, panicked and it become near impossible to put down as the characters struggle to avoid being Ancestor fodder.  Watch your back Dean Koontz or the Ancestor...er...FDO is going to get you!
