Tailgate Tour (and T-shirts!)

Junkies, the ROOKIE Tailgate Tour was terrific. Thanks to everyone who came out. 24 cities, 10,783, 678 Junkies, over 400 books & 250 tees.

And, in reponse to the many requests, we're putting the ROOKIE Tailgate Tour "Property of Krakens" tees on-sale here on the site. These are updated to include the new tour dates, but otherwise the same as the tees we sold at the earlier tour stops. (Read also: they are suh-weet!) Please click the link below to snag your very own.

March 4, 2010 update: If you want a Tailgate Tour tee, don't delay. We've got fewer than 60 remaining, and won't be doing another print run once they're gone!

"Lineman-size" Junkies take note: We have S, M, L, XL, 2XL & a few remaining 3XL tees.

I would love to meet the infamous Mr. Wolf! Or, you could always just mosy a few hours north and come to Cincinnati! Yes, I am totally trying to recruit junkies to come visit my home town!

No Canada spots? Sad Face. Ah well. I have CFL to tide me over until the Rookie drops. And my team (Hamilton Tiger-Cats) just so happen to have as their main QB a 2nd year player named Quinton that's 6'4 (So, taller than most of the guys around him), and is starting to really kick ass. 4-2 this year! (To those not in the know: Canadian Football is like the NFL, only with 3 downs, a larger field (110x65 yards), and a rare chance to get an extra point called a "Single".)

I'm still trying to get him here too...

Folks I bug him regularly to come to Europe- hell even invited him to the NFL game on Oct 25th (I have tickets to the game)- talk about promoting The Rookie the right way?! Tailgating in London!!! I mean this country invented the pub crawl! Also by then Infected and Contagious will have been out in the UK- and Infected in multiple countries in Europe!

Alas he's not stinking rich... yet! Guess we have to buymore books to get him here...

But if you go to Australia before you come to Europe- Shame FDO, shame!

I'd threaten to sick GirlCo on you, but that seems rather counterproductive. People want GirlCo to come after them most of the time. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be their radiant hotness? Or perhaps their astounding intellect? Either would suffice to make it an ineffective threat.

Driving from Canada

Easy peasy when it is only 5 hours, my drive down is 18+ hours from Nova Scotia :)

But I did the 5 hour down and 5 hour back when I went to the NYC and DC signing, totally worth it. Loads of fun

Will be there for the NYC date (a Sunday? I guess it's good for football but not for beer) Will be driving most likely from Long Island but it is so short, I mean, do I just go to the NY ones or hit the PA ones also? After doing NYC and DC in two days it feels like skimping to just go to one. :)

Norman vs OKC

You might consider doing Oklahoma City versus Norman because while this is pretty much Sooner country, right now OSU (in Stillwater) is doing really well and they are insane for their football as well. OKC is between Norman and Stillwater and would allow you target both groups of fans and still benefit from the main population center of the state.

Either way I will be there! Damn excited to see you coming through town, man!
