I've google-mapped it and it looks like Ann Arbor is the best bet. Only 5 hrs each way. I can do that in a day!Hells yes!

Finally Oklahoma!
Finally Oklahoma gets the pleasure of hosting the almighty FDO!....to bad its in Norman (home of the Sooners) and not Tulsa (home of the Talons) the city I live in....and really sucks that its on a Sunday given I work sun - wed... Would love to come to this event so I might have to take off work, or at the very least try to make it down to Dallas or even Huston on my days off just to see ya....
I would hate to miss this wonderful opportunity to finally get to shake the hand of my favorite author. Also two other towns you might want to consider is of course Stillwater (home of the Cowboys), and Oklahoma City (home of the Yard Dawgz).
Either way I hope I can make it out and if not, hopefully you will consider Oklahoma *cough* Tulsa *cough* for the Ancestor Tour.

Close by, I live in Owasso. I wonder how many others live in the area? I know in Dallas last year there were several people from OKC and Tulsa.

All I can say is Oklahoma isn't on most book tours, and I made it out there. I will not be back for the ANCESTOR tour, so I hope you can find a way to come on out and bring a passel of people with you.I have to agree
C'mon Carnie, you know good and well that nothing cool ever comes to Oklahoma unless its blown in by a tornado. Suck it up man, take a day off of work (you know you deserve it) and get thine arse down to Sooner Country. I promies, we won't force you to wear crimson or anything. I wouldn't wear anything orange unless its a Krakens jersey though, folks have been known to have their testicles forceably removed from their bodies over that (I wish I were making that up, but I'm not).

And anyone and everyone that is close to Cincinnati better sign up and say they are coming! It's a great, fun, exciting city to visit! I can give you all the grand tour. Even if you aren't close to Cincy, what a great time to visit! Not only to you get to meet our FDO, but you get to meet ME, who has been KISSed by Sigler! My mommy bags might make an apperance as well!

Or vice versa if he doesn't make it to Indy. It's only like a 2 hour drive if that. I'm just excited that not only is Cincinnati listed, but in case Cincy gets booted off for lack of attendance, there are plenty of other places close by that I can come to! Go Bengals/Bearcats!
