SiglerFest 2011 registration is now open! Quick like a bunny, head on over to the SiglerFest page to be sure you've secured your spot. We're expecting 1.3 billion attendees for this event and only have 1.2 billion tickets available for the buffet, so don't be one of the ... uh ... well, it would be a lot of people going hungry, that's for sure.

They will have online registration. They usually dont get the links set for that until closer to the event.

Damn, only a hint?

I was aiming for SmartAss... need to rachet up the sarcasm another couple of notches.
I wonder if the programs are going to be run off a mimeograph machine (sniff, sniff)? Maybe they'll have filmstrips for the presentations where the LP record has the Beep to let the AV guy know when to go to the next slide! Or maybe a VCR machine for moving pictures? There, I feel better now.

And if you're really lucky, you'll catch a few presentations on microfiche

I was gonna go with Betamax

But figured the youngsters wouldn't know what that was. There are babies here. I HATED researching on microfiche, made me nauseated... Back in the day when we walked to school uphill both ways and had to GO to the library to find out things.

We still have old files on microfiche at the hospital. I hate having to use it. Both the sheets and the rolls. And I do know what Betamax is. What about optical plater discs. CD's the size of 33's
