Heh, just seeing if you were paying attention.

My spelling ability is why I went into IT, usually the spelling is taken care of for me by the computer, its words like collage/college that get me. That is also why I prefer to speak to people in person. Thanks for pointing it out for me though, now your on my list, how do you spell your name? :) Just in case my tone does not come through, I'm kidding, another reason I prefer talking in person. Seattle - Rock On!

As an Original Junkie living in Seattle, I'll be there. I wouldn't care if an Army of rocktopi were between me and that B&N. While I don't want to be seen as questioning my future dark overlord, Barnes and Nobles #2957? Dude, I don't memorize B&N store numbers. A handy Google search told me that store number #2957 is located at 600 Pine Street in Seattle. For us locals, that'd be a little place we like to call "downtown". -e

Good point! I'll make the change

Nice work, Junkie. You shall be among the last to die.

i here ya (or rather read ya)

just teasing ya goofs like that are common, especially if most of your communication is in person i spell check if i am not sure of a spelling, but then that doesn't catch that type of typo * Murder at Avedon Hill - http://www.pgholyfield.com/maah/ * Numbers are the keys that unlock the universe...

I remember a time...

It was back when my now 15 year old daughter was in first grade... She had a list of spelling words... some were purposefully misspelled and her job was to find the misspelled ones... We sat her down at the dining room table to work on it and went into the living room... after a bit, I noticed she wasn't at the table... we found her at the computer. She'd typed in the words exactly as shown on the paper and ran a spell check on it... I mean. What do you do? Bad girl for not doing it how they wanted you to... Good Girl for using the tools at hand.... hehehehe This missive brought to you by SynapticJam - hhhmmm... tastes like chicken

This was almost 10 years ago...

Of course I told her shouldn't do that, and she isn't learning how to spell correctly that way... Her spelling is good... unlike half of the kids today who speek in emoticons and abbreviated words... This missive brought to you by SynapticJam - hhhmmm... tastes like chicken

Visit to Oz

Hey Scott, when will we have the honour of your presence down under - before you take over the rest of the world, it's probably a good idea to actually go there. Just give the word and I will start preparing an evil lair, complete with generous closet of course...

That's no joke...

You know all that stuff they've been saying about Houston? Like the beer and the guns and the rush hour traffic? It's no joke... I hope you have a local driver, Scott, 'cause Houston has the most f'ed up highways I've ever seen. And I've lived in a lot of places... Anyway, I'm thrilled that you're coming to Houston on the 11th because that's my birthday weekend! (Ok, my birthday is the next Monday, the 14th, but it's close) Can't wait!

Jokes? I think not

Beth - first of all, get your profile filled out so we can see who you be. Second, hey, the Houston peeps put up the votes to get me there, so I don't want to hear buyer's remorse over traffic! Everyone who voted needs to come out, or some poor schmuch at Crown can kiss his job goodbye for letting me do this.

New York!

SCOTT. This is Magnus. I'll see you in New York on April 9th. You'd better be looking out for those rockets I can't seem to keep quiet about. I'm buying you several beers. No bout a doubt it

TEXAS will represent...

and it's about time (actually it appears I'm a few days late as I suck at checking staying on top of the break news at www.scottsigler.com). I'm rounding up the Houston Junkies I know and even bringing one or two down from The Rockies (you know Denver/Colorado Springs area). Bringing your pimp hat and your drinking liver. We're going to have a great time!

road trip

...so I've gotta figure out how to tell people I have to drive 13 hours to get to Houston because my Future Dark Overlord is going to be there... On the upside, I've got family there, so a place to crash is no problem... Original Junkie, and Sigler minion, just doing my part to Infect the world.

Looking forward to Houston!

Scott, I'm so glad that we won the last city and can't wait to meet you! I have never been to a bookstore though when an author is there. Any insight on what we can expect?
