Holy crap on a saltine. Take a gander at this ... this ... thing created by Karl Libecamp. He's even got the friggin' butchers block and the Chicken Scissors in there for composition's sake. I knew I had created something gross, something cool, but to see it come to life in the eyes of a fan is about the highest compliment an author can have. Well, it's the third-highest, behind a) being accepted as the divine ruler of the planet, and b) seeing City Halls torn down everywhere and rebuilt to look like my big fat head.

So this is a real, physical object he's created, not just a computer gen composite image...? I envy the talent that can put this kind of thing together. Scott, you should be proud of your ability to a) conceive the creature so fully, and b) create such vivid imagery in your text. Wow, seeing the creature "in the flesh" like this certainly brings it to life. Sweet detail with the big, brown cow-eyes. :-) I don't remember if this was specified in in the book, but: How about putting the eyes between the tentacles instead of directly above them? That'd give it stereoscopic view(s) for the tentacles.LMAO
