Just picked it up from my local independent bookstore...

...so I'm laughing at all of you who are still waiting on Amazon to get around to you. Bwa ha ha ha ha!

(Well, unless you're located outside the continental United States, in which case you have my sympathy.)

PS - Mind you, the local independent bookstore hadn't actually bothered to pull my reserved copy yet, so I had to go get it off the shelf. But still. Bwa ha ha ha ha!

AAAAHHHHH!!! Im now fighting with Amazon about my order!!

I have the confirmation email so I will win, but they are claiming that I have not purchased the book!! I ordered it and payed for in months ago!! Bastards!! This is a great reason to order through Dark Overlord Media!!!

I think it's only DOM books...

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's only pre-ordered books published by Dark Overlord Media that are numbered and signed, such as The Rookie and The Starter.

My big box of Ancestor arrived

The Postal worker never looked so sexy, carrying my massive box of books containing only Ancestor copies. I opened the box and sniffed the books. Then gently cracked them open to view the dedication. Heaven.

Then my hubbie walked by and said..."That's a lot of books. Oh, they're all the same book." Obviously he's not a junkie

Awesome time at borders in NYC last night! Unfortunately didn't have time to go to pub afterwards as I needed to catch a train back to CT but generally an awesome time. My copy of Ancestor had not yet arrived from amazon so I Bought ANOTHER copy for the FDO to sign. This of course helps first day sales number which is what we're all shooting for.

just for everyone's info, borders was checking to ensure everyone had bought the book prior to Scott signing it. If you get your book from another source (ie amazon), you might want bring you receipt just to make life a little easier.

The original Ancestor and Earthcore are much sought after items.

A lot of the OJ's have them but those who came late to the table have missed out on a big piece of Siglerism pie!

Copy of Ancestor arrived

Copy of Ancestor arrived today. Shame the corners are all mashed up. Why do they put a backing card on the book that has the corners chopped off. I'll have to order another copy if I want a nice 'close to mint' one for the bookshelf :(
