Story Notes & Siglerverse Background:
This story is written parallel to Scott's novel INFECTED. It doesn't contain any spoilers, but you'll likely miss much of the humour in the piece if you haven't read the book. In INFECTED, alien parasites rain down upon humanity, frequently causing violent psychotic episodes in those whom they contaminate. Perry Dawsey is one of those afflicted by the parasites.

Thanks for your compliment on the voices. I'm glad you liked them. The author thinking I did well on their story is the highest praise I can receive. I did have to split your tale in half; there was no way I could read all 5000 words and keep consistent on the voices. I thought I might have slipped some doing 2500, but I thought cutting it down to thirds would make the pieces too small.
